The Carradale: Intertwining 18ct Yellow and White Gold Ring

My fiancée’s sister discovered Jacqueline & Edward on Etsy and the company’s ethic was the perfect fit for us. We commissioned Mark to make our engagement ring and wedding bands. Mark was receptive and enthusiastic about our ideas, and guided us through the design intricacies. We supplied our own (minuscule) diamonds from family heirlooms and he incorporated these with other recycled stones in the final design. We met and live in Scotland, but come from Poland and New Zealand. Mark included hand-panned river gold from both countries in combination with Scottish and recycled gold in all three rings. This unique combination makes the rings uniquely ours. We loved that Mark undertook field research to support the engagement ring design – it made us feel connected and valued. He was communicative and answered all our questions, as well as sharing photos of the creation process. Mark’s passion and dedication to his craft is evident and greatly appreciated. Despite having to cancel our wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions, Mark ensured we received the rings by special delivery post and this brought us great joy during lockdown. We can’t wait to work with Jacqueline & Edward again (just need to find a good excuse!). Thanks so much for being part of our journey.
